Lynne Ralston

Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist

                                       EHCP Advocate

I am a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with over 15 years’ experience working exclusively in schools, educational settings, and local authority services. This has given me an in-depth understanding of the education and SEN system, which I have used to design and deliver services that enhance educational provision for neurodiverse learners. My clinical practice focuses on supporting children and young people with complex communication needs, particularly those who are autistic, pre-verbal, or have additional mental health, behavioural, or trauma-related challenges. I have extensive experience in autism and diagnostic assessment, and in developing holistic, evidence-based interventions that improve communication, learning, and access to education, services, and community life. Alongside my clinical work, I have led multi-disciplinary teams, implemented large-scale system change, and acted as a lead professional in EHCP processes and tribunals, always advocating for the voice and needs of the young person.
